What can I say, Luther was the best. I still choke up when I think of no longer getting more of that wonderful voice. I loved him so much , that in 1994 a bought a little silkie terrier, and of course, named him Luther. To me , there will never be another like him, and if there is, I hope to live long enough to hear him.

While searching on the net I came across this site; what a wonderful man he was! I have some of his songs and I still get that warm feeling when I hear him sing! What a wonderful voice!

I went to every concert Luther had in the New York area beginning with him in the group Change. His music and voice is missed. A maverick and master of voice and music. I'm happy that every radio program today is honoring him.

I was happy to see a new site dedicated to Luther!!!! It brought a smile to my face and made my night!!! I really miss him.I will continue visiting the site for any updates. Luther is sorely missed!!! There's no singer that comes close to his melodic voice!!! LUTHER ALWAYS AND FOREVER!!!!!!

Luther Vandross is missed dearly more each and everyday. I know that I was told as a Child, that The plans and ideas that God choose to do on this earth is without a mistake. But it has really been a hard shock, when they told me Luther was gone. I did not do well with this at all. I dropped several tears a few days as I watch the ordeal on T.V. unfold. I really miss hearing that voice on a regular basis. May God rest his soul. It is sometimes real hard listening to his CD, without wated running down my face.

I can't believe it's been five years since Luther took his final journey. I miss his voice and how he sang with his soul. My mother died the day after Luther, and I was torn between going to her wake and his wake. Cried so much the day he died, I was all cried out when my brother called to tell me about our mother. I knew I was going to her funeral, so I went to his wake which was beautiful as I waited in line with thousands of people, and met some of his family. My family was a bit angry with me, but I didn't care; Luther meant a great deal to me and since my mother did not raise me, I had no problem honoring the man who made my life easier with his songs before the woman who just gave me life and gave me away.

To this day, when I hear "Dance with My Father," the tears well in my eyes and sometimes I just let them fall. Hope you're at peace, Luther, you were So Amazing.

just thinking of luther!everydays cause i'm a painter and i'm doing a lot of paintings on luther life for an art expo!i hope in NYC and in Paris where i'm living!i'm a librarian too,just near my home and when i come back to my home,i paint!in fact it's a big project!for the moment,i'm realizing three paintings!but i'll do 30!there will be portraits of luther,his mom;luther with some of his friends like nat adderley,fonzi thornton,ava,lisa and kevin,etc!i'll di some paintings on some of his songs (words),i think to love wont let me wait,a house is not a home and superstar!magic songs as luther said!LOVE SONGS!i'm drawing,for a later painting,to dance of my father!this one is in my head and i know how i'll do it!of corse there will be some paintings with my african style!also paintings with his name and letters LV!just want to advice you about this work!luther was not only a great singer,he has an elegant personnality!also he was full of fun!with humor!he left us since five years,but with my paintings and his songs which inspire me,he's still there!GOD bless himm and this site!Malick!

Wow I just love Luther Vandross! When my aunt came home she introduced me to him and when she did i thought he was still living! He is not living phyiscally but he is living mentally!

i believe i am going to play luther , because i dreamed i did about seven years ago. he was not sick or any thing like that.so when he passed i was shocked. and the funny thing is why are they taking so long to tell this mans story? i remember coming up in the 80's and my aunt fay loved luther, i did not understand until i was grown, i sing and just performed my first luther song(dont u know that) which
is my favorite song by luther. never wrote on a forum before but felt to tell my luther story, thank u for reading

Luther is and will always be my favorite singer. It's so funny that he made so many great songs that it's almost impossible to recall them all without a cheat sheet.

Can someone please tell me where I can find a copy of this DVD.
I've searched all over the internet, but the CD is the only item available.
If this is no longer available, perhaps with enough pressure from fans the company might consider re-issue. Does anyone even know who we can contact to see what can be done for a re-release?
