Does anyone remember the Luther Vandross Christmas Special?
I remember seeing a Luther Vandross Christmas Special. Does anyone know where I could possible find it? Or just any information on it..

It would be so-o-o nice to have someone put out some new videos . Let us know. Does anyone know about the new project that was mentioned on his birthday podcast? It was to be produced by Luther's family.
It would be great if this christmas special is uploaded on youtube!
I am also desperate to watch his 2004 appearance in Oprah. This was his last official appearance on tv.
I know exactly what you're talking about -- I have this special along with a few others. Luther had his own special in 1995 called This Is Christmas. It was basically him introducing various Christmas related music videos out at the time along with premiering Every Year, Every Christmas video. He sang This Is Christmas and a few others with his background singers.
He did an episode of Oprah in 95 where he sang many of the songs from the Christmas album including an audience sing-a-long of the 12 Days of Christmas where Luther got 5 Golden Rings - whole hour was with Luther.
He was also on the Vanessa Williams Christmas Special in 1996 where he sang Do You Know, With a Christmas Heart and Hark! The Harold Angels Sing.
He also did Christmas at the White House (in 96 I think) and he did a Medley/Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas and Come All Ye Faithful.
I have all of these plus MUCH MUCH more. I am working on getting up some kind of system to share them with the other fans and looking for things I don't have in order to get as much out there on Luther as possible. Hope I've been helpful.
Does anyone know which album has Luther singing "You've got me going in Circles"? I think the original was sung by the Friends of Distinction, which was a group "back in the day" probably back in the 70s. Does anyone know how to find songs of other artist covered by Luther?
I remember a Christmas Special with Luther on it, but I dont remember the year. But I do remember that Vanessa Williams was on the show, and that Luther sang "Little Drummer Boy" with the Harlem Boys Choir. It ROCKED! If you find out how to get access to it, PLEASE let me know, I really want a copy!!
